This paper presents a chronological perspective of Air Products’ oxy-fuel burner technology development, with emphasis on how, through customer engagement and innovation, each successive generation of burner technology has provided added commercial value. Development has culminated with our latest offering, the Cleanfire® HRx burner, that has already proven its ability to achieve, among other things, ultra-low NOx emissions and reduction of surface foam in several industrial glass melting furnaces. |
