03-024 YOGENDRA PRASAD YADAVA Silva, G.D.(Universidade Federal de Pernambuco); Silva, J.C.(Universidade Federal de Pernambuco); YADAVA, Y.P.(UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE PERNAMBUCO); Andrade, A.Q.(Universidade Federal de Pernambuco); Cavalcanti, V.P.(Universidade Federal de Pernambuco); The objective of this work was to develop two ceramic masses from industrial ceramic residues for the production of ceramic handicraft products from the Wilson Campos Júnior Architectural Craft Center. The developed masses were characterized by Chemical Analysis and Scanning Electron Microscopy as well as by standardized ceramic tests: Total linear retraction (%); Water absorption (%); Flexural rupture modulus (Kgf / cm²); Loss on fire (%); and Color after burning. According to the results, it was observed that the inclusion of different percentage of industrial waste in clay improved their properties and met the technical and aesthetic requirements for the production of artistic ceramics and table utilities
