In this way, an ecologically correct purpose for the material is found and more economical solutions are sought for the civil construction sector. The project had two moments, the characterization of the material and soon afterwards the making of blocks in manual press and realization of tests of resistance to compression and absorption. By the characterization test, it can be concluded that the reject has low plasticity and high fines content, and it is necessary to add sandy material for potential increase of resistance, which reached the minimum level required by the norm at 16 days of cure.
