study of the use of kaolinite clay in mortars

But there are no scientific studies on the subject. this article proposes the study of the properties of mortars containing in their composition kaolin clay of Campos dos Goytacazes. for this purpose prismatic test specimens were made and water resistance and water absorption tests were carried out. the results prove that the use of mortars with clays is technically feasible, in addition to being a cheaper solution
