In order to achieve such performance, UHPC blends often rely on the presence of nano materials acting on the pore structure of concrete, among which are carbon nanotubes (CNTs). CNTs, due to their superior mechanical properties, are indicated for nano-reinforcement in the matrix of ultra-high performance cement composites. It is observed that there are few researches involving mixtures of UHPC with incorporation of CNTs has been developed, although some recent studies indicate that the incorporation of the same as reinforcement of the matrix can result in a significant improvement of the microstructure of the concrete. Thus, the present research aims to develop traces of UHPC through particle packing theory with the incorporation of CNTs in different percentages (0.05% and 0.1%) and to investigate their properties against a reference trait without incorporation. The results are promising and indicate that the incorporation of CNTs into UHPC results in an effective improvement of their properties |
