10-018 | Rodolfo Foster Klein Gunnewiek | Almeida, N.P.(Universidade Federal de Alfenas); Gunnewiek, R.F.(Universidade Federal de Alfenas); Cassanjes, F.C.(Universidade Federal de Alfenas); | In this work, glasses of the system were obtained and submitted to thermal treatment to study the crystallization process and the phases formed. The concentration of the samples were (0,8) - (0,1) - (0,1) and (0,7) - (0,15) - (0,15). The glasses were obtained using a melt-quenching technique with a refrigerated mold (-15ºC). Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) was employed to determine the glass transition temperature () and crystallization temperature (). The glasses were than heat treated at the for 1h, 2h and 4h. X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements were used to confirm the glass formation before thermal treatment and to determine the phases formed after treatment. Scherrer inference was used to estimate the size of the particles formed after treatment. |
