Bulk doping is prepared by the Pechini method, with the intention of preparing the widely studied Yttira-Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ). As surface doping, praseodimium, neodimium and terbium doping is done by the surface adhesion of the particles. Zeta Potential of YSZ is considered to facilitate this adhesion when in aqueous solution where the rare earth precursors were diluted. To evaluate the success of dopant adhesion, Raman Scattering Analysis is used. The electrolyte manufacturing process is continued following powder metallurgy, so that the preparation process achievements can also be evaluated throughout the process, through the TGA and SEM to observe the size and particle shape, both before and after the sintering. |
