It is well known that concrete receives a large amount of waste and industrial waste in addition or replacement of one of its components, reducing costs and contributing to environmental conservation. The proportion and characteristics of materials used in the preparation of concrete, as well as the procedures adopted in the preparation of this influence the performance of this material. Thus the present work aims to verify the influence of the aluminum powder, added to the cement and sand, in the compressive strength, absorption and specific gravity of the autoclaved concrete. Test specimens were drawn in the 1: 2 trace (cement and sand) and 0.5% of the aluminum powder was used in addition to the cement, after the curing period the compressive strength, absorption and specific weight of the samples were measured. parts. It has been found that the use of the aluminum powder decreases the compressive strength and specific weight, and increases the absorption of the prepared specimens. |
