Abstract
06-022 peng zhang zhang, p.(Shanghai Jiao Tong University); Photoelectrochemical (PEC) hydrogen production via solar water splitting provides a clean way for preparation of hydrogen for future green society. Nanostructures have been designed and implemented to adjust the optical absorption, charge-transport path, surface structures, and electronic conductivity to improve the PEC performance of the thin film photoelectrodes. Fe2O3 based photoanodes and silicon based photocathodes with various morphologies, structures, and surface coating materials have been prepared using different routes and their performance-structure relationships are discussed.
