Production of calcium hexaluminate porous spheres with hierarchical structure.

Alumina and calcium carbonate were used as raw materials as porogenic agents in different proportions. The gel casting method was used for conformation of the samples. The samples were thermally treated up to 1500 ° C, and characterized by morphologically and chemically SEM / EDX, the phases present were determined by XRD, and the porosity calculated on the basis of the Archimedes principle.
