Abstract
17-009 Ligia Maria Manzine Costa Costa, L.M.(Universidade de São Paulo); Poiani, A.B.(Universidade de São Paulo); Salomão, R.(Universidade de São Paulo); Millimeter and porous spheres of calcium hexaluminate were produced. Alumina and calcium carbonate were used as raw materials as porogenic agents in different proportions. The gel casting method was used for conformation of the samples. The samples were thermally treated up to 1500 ° C, and characterized by morphologically and chemically SEM / EDX, the phases present were determined by XRD, and the porosity calculated on the basis of the Archimedes principle.
